YouTube: DIY Blacklight (00:00 - 02:12)
1. Candlelight (Luke 11:33; John 8:12)
2. Blacklight (Luke 11:34-35; Psalm 119:105)
3. Floodlight (Luke 11:36; Matthew 5:6; Daniel 12:3)
Luke 11:33 (willingness)
33 No one lights a lamp and then hides it or puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where its light can be seen by all who enter the house.
Jesus spoke to the people once more and said, “I am the light of the world. If you follow me, you won’t have to walk in darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life.”
Your eye is a lamp that provides light for your body. When your eye is good, your whole body is filled with light. But when it is bad, your body is filled with darkness. Make sure that the light you think you have is not actually darkness.
Psalm 119:105 (word)
Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path.
If you are filled with light, with no dark corners, then your whole life will be radiant, as though a floodlight were filling you with light.
Matthew 5:6 (works)
In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.
Those who are wise will shine as bright as the sky, and those who lead many to righteousness will shine like the stars forever.
