- Put your Jesus glasses on (John 5:39; Mark 1:11; Psalm 2:7; Genesis 22:2; Isaiah 42:1)
- Don't be surprised by who else sees Jesus (John 1:9; Matthew 2:1-2; Vedas; Matthew 4:5-7)
- Marinate don't microwave (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Timothy 2:15; Nardoo Pics; Isaiah 55:2; DA 84; Luke 24:32)
John 5:39
39 You search the Scriptures because you think they give you eternal life. But the Scriptures point to me!
Mark 1:11 (NIV)
11 And a voice came from heaven: “You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased.”
Psalm 2:7 (NIV) [King] [Psalms]
You are my son; today I have become your father.
Genesis 22:2 (NIV) [Son] [Torah]
2 "Take your son, your only son—yes, Isaac, whom you love so much—and go to the land of Moriah. Go and sacrifice him as a burnt offering on one of the mountains, which I will show you."
Isaiah 42:1 (NIV) [Servant] [Prophets]
Here is my servant, whom I uphold, my chosen one in whom I delight; I will put my Spirit on him, and he will bring justice to the nations.
John 1:9
9 The one who is the true light, who gives light to everyone, was coming into the world.
Matthew 2:1-2
1 Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the reign of King Herod. About that time some wise men from eastern lands arrived in Jerusalem, asking, 2 "Where is the newborn king of the Jews? We saw his star as it rose, and we have come to worship him."
Hindu Vedas
The sacrificial victim is to be crowned with a crown made of thorny vines (Rigveda 10.90.7,15). His hands and legs are to be bound to a yoopa [a wooden pole] causing blood shed (Brhadaranyaka Upanishad, 3.9.28). Before death, He should be given a drink of somarasa [an intoxicating herbal juice] (Yajur Veda 31). None of His bones will be broken (Ithareya Brahmanam 2.6). After death, His clothes are to be divided among the offerors (Ithareya Brahmanam). The word is the indestructible God. - Brhadaranyaka Upanishad 4:1,2
Matthew 4:5-7
5 Then the devil took him to the holy city, Jerusalem, to the highest point of the Temple, 6 and said, "If you are the Son of God, jump off! For the Scriptures say, 'He will order his angels to protect you. And they will hold you up with their hands so you won't even hurt your foot on a stone.'" 7 Jesus responded, "The Scriptures also say, 'You must not test the LORD your God.'"
2 Timothy 3:16 (Scripture)
16 All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right.
2 Timothy 2:15
15 Work hard so you can present yourself to God and receive his approval. Be a good worker, one who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly explains the word of truth.

Isaiah 55:2
2 Why spend your money on food that does not give you strength? Why pay for food that does you no good? Listen to me, and you will eat what is good.
Desire of Ages, p84
It would be well for us to spend a thoughtful hour each day in contemplation of the life of Christ. We should take it point by point, and let the imagination grasp each scene, especially the closing ones. As we thus dwell upon His great sacrifice for us, our confidence in Him will be more constant, our love will be quickened, and we shall be more deeply imbued with His spirit.
Luke 24:32
32 Didn't our hearts burn within us as he talked with us on the road and explained the Scriptures to us?
