THE GOOD NEWS TOUR

  1. Is about a God who loves beyond the borders (Luke 8:1; Mark 1:39; Matthew 15:39)
  2. Is about a God who includes the excluded (Luke 8:2; Luke 24:33-34; Acts 1:13-14)
  3. Inspires sacrifical living and giving (Luke 8:3; Mark 3:20; Luke 7:47; Matthew 27:55-56; Luke 24:10)

Luke 8:1

1 Soon afterward Jesus began a tour of the nearby towns and villages, preaching and announcing the Good News about the Kingdom of God. He took his twelve disciples with him

 

Mark 1:39

39 So he traveled throughout the region of Galilee, preaching in the synagogues and casting out demons.

 

Matthew 15:39

39 Then Jesus sent the people home, and he got into a boat and crossed over to the region of Magadan.

 

Luke 8:2

2 along with some women who had been cured of evil spirits and diseases. Among them were Mary Magdalene, from whom he had cast out seven demons.

 

Luke 24:33

33 And within the hour they were on their way back to Jerusalem. There they found the eleven disciples and the others who had gathered with them, 34 who said, "The Lord has really risen! He appeared to Peter.

 

Acts 1:14

14 They all met together and were constantly united in prayer, along with Mary the mother of Jesus, several other women, and the brothers of Jesus.

 

Luke 8:3

3 Joanna, the wife of Chuza, Herod's business manager; Susanna; and many others who were contributing from their own resources to support Jesus and his disciples.

 

Mark 3:20

20 One time Jesus entered a house, and the crowds began to gather again. Soon he and his disciples couldn't even find time to eat.

 

Luke 7:47

 47 "I tell you, her sins—and they are many—have been forgiven, so she has shown me much love. But a person who is forgiven little shows only little love."

 

Matthew 27:55-56

55 And many women who had come from Galilee with Jesus to care for him were watching from a distance. 56 Among them were Mary Magdalene, Mary (the mother of James and Joseph), and the mother of James and John, the sons of Zebedee.

 

Luke 24:10

10 It was Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Mary the mother of James, and several other women who told the apostles what had happened.
