FUNDAMENTAL BELIEF #3: THE FATHER POINTS TO JESUS

John 14:
8 Philip said, "Lord, show us the Father, and we will be satisfied." 9 Jesus replied, "Have I been with you all this time, Philip, and yet you still don't know who I am? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father! So why are you asking me to show him to you? 10 Don't you believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words I speak are not my own, but my Father who lives in me does his work through me. 11 Just believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me. Or at least believe because of the work you have seen me do.
Mark 14:36
36 'Abba, Father,' he cried out, 'everything is possible for you. Please take this cup of suffering away from me. Yet I want your will to be done, not mine.'
Galatians 4:6 (Scripture Reading)
6 And because we are his children, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, prompting us to call out, 'Abba, Father.'
Romans 8:15
15 So you have not received a spirit that makes you fearful slaves. Instead, you received God's Spirit when he adopted you as his own children. Now we call him 'Abba, Father.'

And the years of eternity, as they roll, will bring richer and still more glorious revelations of God and of Christ. As knowledge is progressive, so will love, reverence, and happiness increase. The more men learn of God, the greater will be their admiration of His character.
Hosea 11:8-9
8 "Oh, how can I give you up, Israel? How can I let you go? My heart is torn within me, and my compassion overflows. 9 No, I will not unleash my fierce anger. I will not completely destroy Israel, for I am God and not a mere mortal. I am the Holy One living among you.
John 3:16
16 For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.

11 And a voice from heaven said, 'You are my dearly loved Son, and you bring me great joy.'
