Psalm 95:1-7
1 Come, let us sing to the Lord! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation. 2 Let us come to him with thanksgiving. Let us sing psalms of praise to him. 3 For the Lord is a great God, a great King above all gods. 4 He holds in his hands the depths of the earth and the mightiest mountains. 5 The sea belongs to him, for he made it. His hands formed the dry land, too. 6 Come, let us worship and bow down. Let us kneel [בָּרַךְ barak] before the Lord our maker, 7 for he is our God. We are the people he watches over, the flock under his care. If only you would listen to his voice today!

 

Psalm 72:11,15

11 All kings will bow before him, and all nations will serve him. 15 Long live the king! May the gold of Sheba be given to him. May the people always pray for him and bless [בָּרַךְ barak] him all day long.

 

Barak בָּרַךְ

To bless God (as an act of adoration). To kneel. To thank.

Psalm 100:1-4

1 Shout with joy to the Lord, all the earth! 2 Worship the Lord with gladness. Come before him, singing with joy. 3 Acknowledge that the Lord is God! He made us, and we are his. We are his people, the sheep of his pasture. 4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go into his courts with praise [תְּהִלָּה tehillah]. Give thanks to him and praise [בָּרַךְ barak] his name.

Revelation 4:8,10-11

8 Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God, the Almighty—the one who always was, who is, and who is still to come. 10 They lay their crowns before the throne and say, 11 “You are worthy, O Lord our God, to receive glory and honor and power. Ephesians 3:14-17 (NIV)

14 For this reason I kneel before the Father, 15 from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name. 16 I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith.
